Opus International was a French magazine about contemporary art published between 1967 and 1995. The ninth issue from December of 1968 was dedicated to Czechoslovakian visual arts, music and film in relation to the August invasion of the Warsaw Pact troop. Revue was supposed to support authors and make them acquainted with the world public.
Today, after fifty years later it is translated to czech language and reissued once again. Reprint takes the role of gesture with the opposite meaning. To get back among us those who had to leave homeland to apply their education where they were valued and respected, and partially fill the void in our cultural history at least, which is just one of many are as affected by the times of August ‘68. This reprint is contain an additional section, which continues on to the current times.
