Vojtěch Hlaváček (*1994) is a graduate of the studio of Fine Arts I under the guidance of Dominik Lang and Edith Jeřábková at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (UMPRUM) in Prague and of the studio of Figural Sculpture and Medal under the guidance of Vojtěch Míča, Kateřina Komm, and Milada Othová at the Academy of Fine Arts (AVU) in Prague. As part of the Master's programme at the Academy of Fine Arts, he spent a semester on an exchange programme at The Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in the Netherlands. His most recent solo exhibition, "That's What I Saw", could be seen in 2025 at SPZ Gallery. Curator Eva Slabá wrote about his work: "Hlaváček's creative process is a process of experimental exploration, investigating the potential of materials and technological procedures. The results of his work are not static but dynamic; they avoid strict definition and straightforward description, which brings with it a certain degree of obscurity that may seem impenetrable at first sight.  In a way, however, it precisely captures the fragmentation of information flows, the multiplicity of technology and the difficulty of grasping the hyperobjects of the contemporary world." In addition to his independent artistic practice, he is also engaged in exhibition scenography and architectural and interior bespoke projects through Studio Acht Ateliers, of which he is a co-founder.
